Sion Milosky Memorial Fund

On March 21st, 2011 tragedy struck the surfing world. Sion Milosky passed away after a fall at Maverick’s break, a famous surfing location in Hawaii. The father of two had recently gained notoriety not only in the surfing world, but throughout the sporting community, for catching the biggest wave ever recorded in a surfing competition. Milosky was a pioneer of big wave surfing, often pushing the boundaries of the sport and pushing himself to new achieve bigger and bigger goals. Away from surfing, Milosky was a dedicated father to two young girls; he often described his passions to be his family first and chasing massive waves second. Milosky was a man dedicated to his sport and his family. His contributions to his sport and to the world will not be forgotten and he will be greatly missed.

I encourage you to donate to the fund as all proceeds go directly to benefit Sion’s wife and children.
